Martin-Luther-Platz 21, 91522 Ansbach
The "Güllbrünnlein" is nestled against the southern outer wall of St. John's Church. It commemorates the children's songwriter Friedrich Wilhelm Güll, who was born in 1812 in the house opposite. With poems such as "Büblein auf dem Eis", he is still present in many primary school reading books today. The fountain illustrates Güll's poem "Pflaumenregen". The text can be read on a plaque.
