The Ansbach Orangery is one of Franconia's historical gems. Located on the edge of the city center and uniquely embedded in the margravial court garden, it is a stylish venue for cultural events, concerts, conferences, parties and celebrations. Since January 2021, Blank Hotel GmbH has taken over the operation of the catering and event management. With the neighboring, modern hotel-brewery DAS HÜRNER (350m away), the Orangerie becomes a professionally managed complete offer for events of all kinds.

Further information:
The Orangery was built at the beginning of the 18th century by Carl Friedrich von Zocha based on French models, who modeled the north side on the colonnades of the Louvre and the south side on the Grand Trianon in Versailles. At the same time, the court garden, which had existed since 1535, was also redesigned in the Baroque style. After the bombing raids during the Second World War, the gardens were rebuilt in their former splendor using old plans. Since then, the tradition of planting in the style of the 17th and 18th centuries and the cultivation of Mediterranean potted plants has been continued. In the summer months, lemon, bitter orange, olive, pistachio, laurel and strawberry trees can be admired
In odd-numbered years, concerts are held there as part of the Ansbach Bach Week. The Blue Hall and the Cupola Hall - two magnificent rooms for festive events - are rented out by the Bavarian Administration of State Palaces, Gardens and Lakes.
