Karlspl. 8, 91522 Ansbach
This paved the way for the creation of the first Catholic parish church in Ansbach. After the Karlshalle had become too small as a place of worship for the steadily growing Catholic community at the beginning of the 19th century, a new church was needed. The Bavarian King Ludwig I not only granted a state subsidy in 1829, but also gave permission in 1830 to name the new building "Ludwigskirche". The uniformly classicist style throughout and the large, four-bell peal make it well worth a visit.
